My name is Sophia Lilikoi Dargie. I’m the Regional Marketing Coordinator at Live Nation and an indie booker & promoter.
I’m currently available for booking, promotion, and concert photography.
I’m based in San Francisco, and most likely walking around the foggy downtown streets listening to a podcast or going to a show.
Booking & Promotion
As an independent booker, I love being able to curate nights full of music, vendors, and artists. I work with local venues and bands to create shows and plan tours.
Photography
I am a film photographer, specializing in concert photography and band portraiture. I shoot on 35mm film and love to design sets, work with lights, and play with different filters and angles.
Radio
As the former Director of Promotions at KUSF, I worked with concert promotors and venues to coordinate events, co-presents, and ticket giveaways. As a broadcasted radio DJ, I curated a weekly live show, interviewed bands and artists, and hosted in-studio live sessions.
Podcasts
I have created, edited, and produced several single episode student podcasts including: DIY Explained, To Defend and Explain Your Existence, Best Worst Memory, Biting the Apple, and Incarcerated Firefighters.
I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Performing Arts and Social Justice with a Concentration in Music and a Specialized Focus in Podcasting from the University of San Francisco. I spent several years honing my creativity into single episode podcasts, social justice advocacy, and investigative journalism. Over time, I became more motivated to provide factual, free, and accessible information for everyone - including within the music industry. Creating an equal platform for musicians and supporting local bands & arts is my passion.
Currently, I work for Live Nation in San Francisco in Marketing. I have also worked as a teacher’s assistant in USF’s Honors Rhetoric Department where I taught students audio production and podcast creation. I am also always booking shows through @sophpresents - come say hi!
In my free time you will catch me playing piano, guitar, and bass, and most likely dancing to music after a good jam session.
